Timothy Jones, also known as Timbuck2, began DJing as the young protege of legendary Chicago DJ The Twilite Tone. In the early 90's, he began cultivating his talents and establishing his place in the music industry as the face of Chicago's underground Hip-Hop scene.

Although a native of Bucktown, he most often spenthis time in Hyde Park, a neighborhood once known as the epicenter of Chicago's South Side hip-hop scene.

By the age of 21, he had made his mark on not only on the Chicago club scene but also in every major city in the United States. In 2004, he was brought on by the Midwest's #1 radio station 107.5 WGCI, who were seeking to change the sound of Chicago radio. Consequentially, he became the youngest mix show DJ and on-air personality in WGCI's history and earned his spot in The HeavyHitters, an illustrious worldwide DJ crew.

His mission was to help change the sound of Chicago radio, often hosting mix tapes for talent he believes in. He is known for supporting local artists and giving them their first on-air appearances on Go-Ill radio. He also showed a lot of love to music blogs like FakeShoreDrive, Ruby Hornet and Closed Sessions, giving new artists a platform.

Additionally, he has toured with Kanye West and has been the DJ of choice for celebrities, athletes and artists such as P. Diddy, Jay Z, Talib Kweli, Common, 50 Cent, Lil' Kim, Destiny's Child, Michael Jordan, The Game, Vic Mensa, Rockie Fresh, Lupe Fiasco and countless others.

He went on to play music at local venues, past and presentsuch as Slick's Lounge, The Shrineand Beauty Bar, remaining a staple on the DJ scene.

Cherishing Timothy's memory are his parents, Edward II and Bernadette, his brother Edward III (P.J.) and his sister DeAnna Jones, grandmother Mildred Jones, three uncles, six aunts, twenty cousins, and a host of other family & friends.
